It's poignant and striking. Breathtaking, it is. The focal point is made clear, the light distribution is well done. I also like the contrast between the coal black hair of the girl and the rest of the photograph, and the fact tat the same pitch black appears on the bars of the balcony. What could have been improved, however, is the position of t
he woman. She is a bit blurred, focus would do good. Also, on that note, where she is situated stresses that area a bit too much, If she were placed in front of the white garage door, still close to the seperating wall, it would be more pleasing to the eye.
It's a very well done photo and the placing is well thought out. Emotions are conveyed well, evoking strong emotion, though may be interpreted in numerous different ways. Creative, nice technique. Keep it up!
